PRO TIPS!

Cheap is good, but beware! A typical scam is that some taxi drivers in Aqaba or other places claim that they can arrange your tour to Wadi Rum.

Actually, they take you to Shakariya village, which is only a few kilometres away from Wadi Rum visitor centre. And the Bedouin there can also offer the 4x4 that drives you around the area just north of Wadi Rum Natural Reserve.

The taxi driver profits from the ticket fee that they claim to pay for Wadi Rum and the price difference between 4x4 in Wadi Rum. The scenery there is also very good, and the area also has something resembling the "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" and the rock bridge in Wadi Rum. But this is not Wadi Rum after all. Some tourists are not even aware that they actually have never been to Wadi Rum after the tour.

CONSIDER RENTING A CAR?

You can rent a car from the airport or in the city of either Aqaba or Amman and drive yourself to Wadi Rum or anywhere else. This is another popular and cheap option for traveling around Jordan. This should cost at least 30 JD per day ( depending on car type and duration).

TAXI FARE AND DURATION

Petra : 2 Hour, 40 JD per taxi
Aqaba : 1 Hour, 25 JD per taxi
Wadi Musa: 2 Hour, 40 JD per taxi
Amman : 5 Hour, 110 JD per taxi
Death Sea: 5 Hour, 110 JD per taxi

DO I NEED TO TIP THE TAXI DRIVER?

Not necessary. Giving a tip to the taxi driver is not a must or custom. However, if you personally feel gratitude or happy, then you can go ahead, but of course, this is more than personal reason.

THINKING TO TAKE A BUS?

There are some daily bus schedules from the most popular route to wadi rum, eg petra, aqaba and wadi musa. Most of the buses are run by JETT bus company. The price of the JETT bus is more expensive than the local one, but it can guarantee more spacious, comfortable seats and comes with air-conditioning. You can secure a reservation at this link;

WHY US?

FLEXIBLE

You can book the service at any time according to your convenience without worrying the bus timetable or parking fee which might be due.

RELIABLE

We are sure you wouldn't want to arrive late in case your driver is not punctual or decides to not show up at all on the last moment

REASONABLY PRICED

Many people avoid such a taxi service, considering it to be an expensive option. However, this might be wrong. If you could share the ride with your friends and family, would it get cheaper? Besides, you don't need to worry about getting cheated by taxi scams.
